Tintorera: Killer Shark is a Mexican Jaws rip-off. There is a killer shark in the film. That's the only comparison. Though the shark doesn't show up that often. In fact, more sharks are killed in Tintorera than actually do the killing. The shark killing scenes are frequent and tedious after long. There is a lot of nudity in Tintorera, which is nice. Not much tension or plot. But a lot of nudity. Jaws is the better killer shark film. There is no doubt. However, Tintorera is more like an erotic film with sharks in it. I guess that gives it slightly more replay value for my tastes. It's close.
