The original is so much better. Probably the biggest margin in quality from an original to a remake I can think of off the top of my head. Gary Cooper and Jean Arthur are so wonderful in this film.

Having Adam Sandler step in to a Gary Cooper role is baffling. With its mix of annoying characters and Sandler goofball syoryline, more proof that the moron generation doesn't need to be spoon-fed remakes.
