I definitely prefer my infernal films to be more like Hell House. Luscious to look at, quietly depraved and consistently terrifying. Satan was just every bit as baffling as it was disturbing.
I thought Sheitan was funny, for the most part. In a sick and twisted manner, yes, but that's often the best sort of funny. The Legend of Hell House bored me, except for the ending. The ending was too silly to be boring. Instead, I just shook my head and wondered why anyone thought that the goofy revelation was worth sitting through all the dullness for. Totally not a fan of Hell House.
