Sympathy for the Devil vs. Rosemary's Baby

Polanski vs Godard in devilish capers. Not that Sympathy for the Devil really has anything to do with Beelzebub. I don't rate Rosemary's Baby. I don't enjoy Mia Farrow's performance. Love the ending. Sympathy for the Devil is interesting but ultimately feels like a student film-maker who has managed to get access to the Rolling Stones studio, didn't get enough footage and thought substituting some weird political allegories and metaphors would make up for the oversight. It is of its time. Yet despite that I prefer it. It's interesting and oddly compelling. Sympathy for the Devil wins.
