I enjoyed The Rum Diary just a little bit more.

I have seen both movies. But they are so different!! The Rum Diary has some funny scenes but a meaningless story. One the other hand, the Ides of March is a political movie, too serious and interesting at the same time. It is hard to say but I will propably choose the Ides of March.
