My Nights Are More Beautiful Than Your Days vs. An Education

My lukewarm feelings toward An Education are due considerably to Peter Sarsgaard, who I just don't care for as an actor. He makes the whole film seem creepy, because he always seems creepy in every movie. My Nights Are More Beautiful Than Your Days... I've seen two other Andrzej Zulawski films aside from My Nights, and those were balls out crazy. My Nights is just kind of casually weird, and totally lacks the intensity that I've grown accustomed to with Zulawski. So, I was mostly bored. Anyway, so these are both romance flicks that turned me off. Since the rest of An Education isn't bad, aside from Sarsgaard, I guess it's more tolerable. My Nights as a whole actually annoyed me.
