When I think of the Mount Rushmore of Movie Characters, I immediately pencil in a few names. You have Ethan Hunt of the IMF, you have Sergeant First Class William James of the Army's Bomb Squad, you have Lt. Detective Christian 'Bigfoot' Bjornsen of the LAPD, and above all, you have John 'the dog trainer' Wick.

People, this man potty trained a new puppy in the matter of a few hours. Then an entitled Russian son decides to murder his dog in cold blood, and what does Wick do about it? Exactly what you would expect a world class dog trainer to do. Reveal that he's actually a former syndicate hitman and avenge his puppy.

John Wick is a story of survival. It's a narrative full of ethos, pathos, and logos, It's a film that shows good defeats evil. and it always will as long as John Wick is on the job.

Stahelski and Leitch said in an interview that they wanted to make John Wick an artistic action movie - and boy, they sure succeeded!
