Why does the cast not include the obvious Audrey Hepburn?

Such a absurdly overrated movie. I won't ever question Audrey Hepburn magnetic charm, but sometimes this movie just feels downright wrong. Mr. Yunioshi? I mean really? Can you watch a portrayal like that and feel good about it?

It can be called of the most overrated of 60s.

Mickey Rooney was pretty bad, but Audrey Hepburn is wonderful as always and holds it all together.

Better than I thought it would be. Hepburn is magnetic, tho Rooney's racist role is hard to stomach.

This movie is nothing like what I thought it was going to be. It did make me realize that I love Audrey Hepburn though. On another note I thought Mickey Rooney was hilarious.

Unwatchable with the gross caricature of a Japanese man (oh, Mickey Rooney, you were more tolerable in Blackface than doing this.) No hate to the people who love this film or Audrey Hepburn. It needs a remake to scrub out the unnecessary racism.
